<content:encoded><![CDATA[For a large multifamily ground-up project in the Sun Belt, the interior designer specified sleek on-off switches embedded in the kitchen countertops for every unit’s garbage disposal.
However, this detail was overlooked by the electrical engineer on the project, whose own specifications included garbage disposals with on-off switches mounted on walls behind the sinks. 
Both of those conflicting instructions made it into the building’s final planning documents.
The result?
Once the building was nearing completion, a team of electricians proceeded to install wall mounts behind every kitchen sink, as specified, said Paul Zeckser, co-founder and CEO of LightTable.

The FTSE 350 Real Estate index rose 2% on Wednesday after UK government borrowing costs dropped to some of their lowest levels this year. 
Shares in Big Yellow led the charge, rising 4%. That was partly driven by the fact that the sector will not face significantly higher business rates, as had been feared. That could pave the way for a takeover of the company by Blackstone.

The Georgia Superior Court Clerks’ Cooperative Authority has been offline since Nov. 21 after the agency “activated its defensive security protocols” due to “a credible and ongoing cybersecurity threat,” the authority posted on its website.

The venture capital-backed sports content company signed for 41K SF at Two Trees Management Co.’s 20 Jay St., growing its existing space on the sixth and seventh floors, according to a release.
“We knew we wanted to remain a part of the vibrant energy of Dumbo, a location that’s ideal for our largely Brooklyn-based team,” Overtime co-founder and CEO Dan Porter said.
The 11-story, 443K SF building has conference rooms on every floor and a landscaped rooftop terrace, according to the building listing on Two Trees’ website.

San Diego-based IQHQ announced that its $1B, 960K SF Fenway Center project isn't moving forward until it is at least 50% leased, the life sciences developer told The Boston Globe.
