Effective Jan. 1, 2026, the company's Gino Canori will become president and CEO of Related California’s market-rate division, while Ann Silverberg will become president and CEO of the firm's affordable division. Witte will move into the role of chairman emeritus at that time.
Related California is the West Coast arm of Related Cos. Witte founded Related California with Stephen Ross in 1989.

The 7-1 split was approved by the company’s board of directors and will take effect Dec. 1. 
Companies sometimes employ reverse stock splits when they are in danger of being delisted from one of the stock exchanges, as was the case with WeWork in 2023. There is no delisting notice filed for HPP with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Kilroy Realty got a leasing boost in the third quarter from San Francisco’s rapidly rebounding real estate market, but it still has a large wave of impending vacancies.
The Los Angeles-based REIT signed approximately 552K SF of leases in Q3, with 315K SF of those leases renewals. That total is Kilroy’s highest-ever third-quarter performance. 
Kilroy also reported that of the 1.9M SF of leases it had previously reported as expiring in 2026, it had signed renewals for all but 970K SF, giving the company a 40% retention rate.

Developed by The Latigo Group, the Santal Thousand Oaks at 299 Thousand Oaks Blvd. was built in 2023. Rental rates for the property range from $3,250 to $5,580 for one-to-two-bedroom units, according to Apartments.com. The property has the highest multifamily rents in Ventura County, Newmark said.

The property is 100% leased to “one of the largest privately held building materials suppliers in the U.S.,” according to a release from Colliers. The sales price wasn't disclosed. 
Colliers’ west industrial capital markets team, including Michael Kendall, Gian Bruno, Kenny Patricia, Kylie Jones, Mark Zorn and Cory Whitman, marketed the property and represented the seller and buyer.

That project is scheduled to return for a final decision, but the denial makes clear that Beverly Hills isn’t done fighting builder’s remedy just yet. 
The Beverly Hills Planning Commission voted 4-1 at a Tuesday night meeting to deny the 26-story Crescent Heights project at 8844 Burton Way. 
Commissioner Terri Kaplan served as the lone vote in favor. Kaplan said she felt “boxed in,” like she had to approve the project because a denial would ultimately lead to expensive litigation.
